Everyone knows they should backup their PC's but the reality is, not very many do.

All too often it is way too late and you lose everything, before people start to take backups seriously.

Then it can be clumbersome.  Writing stuff to CD's or DVD's is easy enough, but keeping yourself up to date is a constant battle.

Our backup solution takes all the hassle away.  An extra drive in your fileserver can act as a backup store.  Server Backup software is installed and the drive earmarked as the "data repository".  We then add a second USB external drive as the "mirror".

The "mirror" drive provides 2 functions, firstly if the main backup disk fails the mirror has all the data.  Also, the "mirror" can be quickly detatched form the server and taken offsite.

You then install Backup Client software on each PC connected to the network.  By default a "Full Backup" set is created, but you are free to add as many backup sets as you like.  For example you could schedule your "My Documents" folder to backup every 4 hours and a full system backup every night at 3am.

The backup software is very intuitive and will only backup changes.  It then stores up to 25 revisions of each file as they may change.  This makes for very quick backup times, yet extremely flexible restore features.

If you do come to need to restore, you can elect to do a complete pc restore, or select any combination of files and folders.

The best thing is, once set up you can more or less forget about it.  The backup software will run automatically and you will have a lot more piece of mind that your data is securely and properly backed up.
