A good example of this is the BK Racing website www.bkracing.co.uk where we programmed the "Wheel Wizard" into our CMS and E-Commerce system.  Give it a play, select some alloy wheels for your car (or any old car if they arn't available) and click on the BUY button.  You will then be presented with a custom quote generator to add tyres and accessories.  Once the BUY button on that page it pressed our standard e-commerce system takes over.

Utilisation of existing scripts in this way meant we didnt need to waste time with all the usual stuff such as memberships, confirmation emails, password reminders, feedback forms etc.  leaving all the development budget for the custom applications within the site.
